Rachel has been a member of the Anglo American Crop Nutrients Executive Committee since 2022 and has led the Corporate Affairs, Permitting and Land teams since 2024.

Rachel started her career in law and has over 20 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor, formerly specialising as a projects and infrastructure lawyer in private practice and industry. She trained at a leading international law firm before moving to specialise in projects work, moving into industry in 2009, working for the investments division of a major contractor specialising in infrastructure projects. Rachel joined the Woodsmith Project in 2016 as Senior Legal Counsel before taking the role as Head of Legal, leading a dedicated team of lawyers for the Crop Nutrients business.

Rachel is an experienced trustee and director.
