Kieron’s career in the City of London’s financial sector began back in 1997 and has involved Investment Banking, Investment Research, Portfolio Management and Fund Administration. Kieron has just joined Peel Hunt after more than 10 successful years at Panmure Liberum.

As a commodity and Mining analyst at Panmure Liberum, Kieron was consistently ranked as one of the UK’s top mining analysts, as voted for by industry professional and surveys for small/mid cap equities. Additionally, since 2017, Kieron has also delivered top-ranking commodity estimates, most notably in Gold, Iron Ore, Copper, Gemstones and Zinc.

In 2011, Kieron established Charles Stanley Securities’ first mining research franchise, which was subsequently acquired by Panmure Gordon prior to it becoming Panmure Liberum in 2024.

Prior to joining the Sell-side, Kieron was part of a team of three investment professionals forming the UK Equity Investment team at Insight Investment, part of the Lloyds Banking Group. The team was responsible for over £5 billion of long-only equity fund mandates and provided the core fundamentals for how Kieron’s research has been produced ever since.

Kieron is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
