Jens-Michael Bergmann is a specialist in sensor-based machine sorting with more than 20 years of experience. After graduating with a master’s degree in mining engineering, Mr Bergmann became plant and operations manager of a German company owning multiple mines and quarries. There he learned the challenges of the mining and mineral processing business hands-on.

Before, during his university time, Mr Bergmann worked in underground coal mines and oil rigs around Europe. His practical background created the necessary experience to offer level technical consultancy around sensor-based sorting technologies to Tomra’s international clients now.
