Don joined Cornish Metals in October 2024 as CEO and Director. Educated in South Africa, with a BEng in Mining & Mineral Engineering as well as a Masters in Business Leadership, Administration and Management, Don worked for BHP for 11 years, rising to VP of Project Development.

Don’s experience spans coal mining, mineral processing and trading, as well as rehabilitation, material handling, crushing and screening.

Cornish Metals Inc is a dual-listed company working towards re-opening its 100% owned, fully permitted South Crofty underground tin mine located in Cornwall. South Crofty is one of the highest-grade tin resources globally with potential to become a new, low-cost global producer. The company also holds other mineral rights in Cornwall with potential for discovery of tin, copper, lithium, tungsten, zinc and silver mineralisation.
