After graduating from Camborne School of Mines, Carol joined Hunting Surveys as a geophysicist, before eventually moving back to Cornwall where for 15 years, she worked in the business development team at Reflex Marine Ltd.

Carol is a Director of Camborne School of Mines Association Ltd, a Trustee of King Edward Mine with a responsibility for marketing as well as being a regular guide for public tours of the museum.
