James is an experienced UK-focused mining professional with hands-on experience in operations across Northern Ireland, Wales, England, and Scotland. He currently represents Welsh Gold Explorer, Sarn Helen Gold, continues as an independent consultant through R2C Mining, and serves as an associate consultant with Bara Consulting, providing geological and mining support to the wider mining sector. James is also a Non-Executive Director of Vast Resources plc.

James holds an MSc in Mining Geology from CSM, is a Chartered Geologist, Chartered Engineer, and a Registered Professional Geoscientist in Mining and Mineral Exploration. He is well known for his continued technical support across a range of UK and international projects, drawing on two decades of practical experience in the UK and Australia, alongside that gained internationally as a consultant. James has been a supporter and regular speaker at the UKMC since its inception.
