Suzie Doe is a communications and stakeholder engagement specialist, currently working as the Industry Ambassador Programme at Minerals Matter, a UK-wide initiative developed in partnership with the Mining Association of the United Kingdom (MAUK).

In this role, Suzie oversees the strategic coordination of outreach efforts that connect professionals across the geo-resources sector with schools, universities and communities. Her work plays a vital role in raising awareness of the importance of minerals to the UK’s economy and net-zero transition, while also addressing the sector’s long-term skills and diversity challenges.

Her work has supported curriculum-aligned resources, ambassador training, and partnerships with education and industry bodies across the UK. Previously, she has contributed to major stakeholder engagement projects in the geo-resources sector, supporting public-facing communications on sustainability, innovation, and sector transparency.

Through these initiatives, she has helped improve industry visibility, support workforce development, and create lasting links between mining professionals and the next generation.
