Isobel is a Managing Consultant at ERM, working across the built environment, networks and energy infrastructure planning. She specialises in the heat network sector where she is experienced in designing low carbon energy infrastructure. Her particular expertise in techno-economic modelling allows for effective assessment of scenarios across a project’s lifetime that deliver the most cost-effective low carbon solutions.

Isobel has delivered a wide range of geothermal projects from feasibility studies through to detailed design for clients in both the public and private sector. Isobel joined ERM in 2024, after six years as an Energy Engineer with Buro Happold, working in London and New York. She has an MEng in Renewable Energy from Exeter University’s Penryn Campus.
