Stewart Dickson has been the Chief Executive Officer of Variscan Mines Ltd (ASX:VAR) since May 2017. During this time, the company has significantly progressed exploration and development strategies for its core assets in northern and central Spain. Stewart is also a consultant/non-executive director of Russia-based gold and silver producer Trans-Siberian Gold plc, which owns controlling interests in a portfolio of mineral deposits. He is also a company director of UK private company FELDI Ltd, a group providing consultancy services to client companies across the globe.

Prior to his career in mining, Stewart was a commissioned officer in the British Army. He has a Bachelor of Arts (honours in geography) from University College London (UCL) and a Master in Business Administration from Henley Business School. He also graduated from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
