SW England is an outstanding natural laboratory that underpins most of Robin’s research and teaching. He is interested in all aspects of Variscan and post-Variscan tectonics, regional geological evolution and resource geology. His usual focus is the interplay between tectonics/structural geology and magmatism, sedimentation and natural resources (minerals + geothermal energy).

Robin is engaged in research and knowledge exchange that contributes to the exploration and production activities of natural resources companies operating in the region.
