Environmental Resources Management (ERM) - Principal Hydrogeologist & Technical Partner

Paul is a hydrogeologist with 35 years’ experience in water resources assessment, development and management. He is a Technical Partner with ERM and provides high level technical direction on mine water supply, dewatering/depressurisation and water management projects across the globe. Paul maintains a very practical and hands-on approach.

Paul has managed and directed hydrogeological and hydrological studies associated with water supply, dewatering/depressurisation, closure, environmental impact assessment, water balance modelling, groundwater/surface water modelling and integrated site wide water management on mining projects across Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, North/South America and the Middle East.

Paul is currently working on several mining projects in the UK, including the Woodsmith Polyhalite Project (Yorkshire), Trelavour Lithium Project (Cornwall) and Hemerdon Tungsten/Tin mine (Devon). He specialises in providing practical technical support to mining projects at various stages of the mining life cycle, with a key focus on developing practical solutions, realising opportunities and re-risking projects.
