Geoffrey Smith has over 35 years’ experience in finance, working for a variety of private and government bodies. He is currently an MD at Stout, a US investment bank, and is working on a number of energy transition projects. Before this, he was instrumental in setting up the UK Infrastructure Bank (now the National Wealth Fund) and is passionate about the opportunities for geothermal in the UK.
Geoffrey served in the British Army and is now a keen sailor.
