Don Turvey is Chief Executive Officer of Cornish Metals plc, leading the advancement of the South Crofty tin project in Cornwall towards production in 2028. He has more than 40 years’ experience in the global mining industry, including over 20 years with BHP, and has held CEO roles in private, ASX- and AIM-listed mining companies since 2008. His experience spans project development, operations and corporate leadership across multiple jurisdictions. At Cornish Metals, Don has overseen significant project milestones, including major strategic fundraisings, accelerated site redevelopment and the company’s re-domiciliation to the UK. He is focused on delivering a secure, responsible and long-term domestic supply of tin to support critical mineral supply chains.
