Rich has over two decades of commercial, technical and continuous improvement experience within the Energy, Industrial and Semi-Automotive sectors.

Rich spent the first 12 years of his career with Caterpillar, where most latterly as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he led the Industrial Power System Division global supply chain strategy. In 2010, he relocated to Austria to join GE’s Energy division, applying Six Sigma within the engineering function at Jenbacher Gas Engines.

On his return to the UK, and for the next 11 years, Rich assumed commercial responsibility for the GE Oil & Gas, now part of Baker Hughes, Rotating Equipment relationship with bp. Since 2022, Rich has been providing leadership of business development activity in new sectors for Baker Hughes, and as the Global Sectors Director is focused on activity within Mining and Metals, Geothermal and Decentralised Power Generation.

Rich lives in Lincolnshire and graduated from the University of Hull with a BSc in Economics & Management Science.
