Lisl Lewis
Lisl is 29 years into a diverse and unusual career spanning different facets of the energy business, and it all started for her in the mining sector where she worked on a geophysical field crew in the western United States exploring for gold, base metals, and geothermal resources. She then joined the pioneering application of marine electromagnetics for hydrocarbon exploration. Years of geophysical field work, both on land and at sea, led her naturally to the role of Operations Manager for a start-up company in California which was later acquired by Schlumberger (now SLB). After working in geophysical research and development for SLB in Norway, she diversified into corporate training and business system management in the UK. Recognizing the role that geothermal energy can play in the energy transition, Lisl transferred to GeothermEx from mainstream SLB with the goal of expanding the use of geothermal energy, particularly in the UK and Europe.
