Jeremy Wrathall
Jeremy graduated from the Camborne School of Mines in 1985 with a BSc (Hons) in Mining Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. Having initially worked in the South African gold mining industry Jeremy enjoyed a successful investment banking career before founding Cornish Lithium in May 2016 and running the company full time in early 2017. Since securing its first external funding in 2017 the company has grown significantly and now employs over 60 people, most of whom are located in Cornwall.
Cornish Lithium is an innovative mineral exploration and development company focused on the environmentally responsible and sustainable extraction of lithium from both geothermal waters and hard rock. The company seeks to provide a secure domestic supply of decarbonising metals considered vital to the industrial strategy of the UK and the move towards a Net Zero economy. Cornish Lithium is proud to be a Cornish company headquartered at the Tremough Innovation Centre in Penryn.
